Jacquline A. Tessen, M.D.

Dr. Tessen is a native of the Midwest, born and raised in Wisconsin. She received a Bachelor of Science with Honors degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1987, and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, in Iowa City, IA. Since then she has been in private OB-GYN practices in Wisconsin, Iowa, on the island of Saipan, and now in Anniston, Alabama. She has been with Anniston OB-GYN Associates, P.C. since 2005. She spent several years on the faculty at the University of Iowa, responsible for the resident and medical student teaching, as well as patient care. She is interested in all aspects of women's health care, including pediatric and adolescent gynecology, obstetrics, menopause, medical and surgical treatment of female reproductive system problems, and family planning.

Dr. Tessen has two daughters, Alice and Hannah. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, hiking, scuba diving, traveling, and a number of other activities. She is available to speak to groups on health topics, especially those involving women's health.
